Traceability Graph
Every research output on this platform is fully traceable. The chain below shows how dataset versions link to experiment runs, which produce artifacts (figures, tables, metrics), which inform insights and thesis sections. This satisfies the non-negotiable traceability requirement of the research platform.

Traceability Policy (Non-Negotiable)
1. Every insight and thesis section MUST cite at least one experiment run or dataset version.
2. Experiment runs are immutable — no UPDATE operations, enforced by DB trigger.
3. Metrics displayed in the UI are read from
frozen_metrics_snapshot — never recomputed.4. All artifacts are content-addressed (sha256). Changing a file changes its identity.
5. Dataset versions follow semantic versioning; breaking changes increment the major version.
