Editorial Methodology

Renewable Transition is built on a commitment to scientific rigour, source transparency, and reproducible analysis. This page explains how we produce and verify content.

News & Analysis

News articles are based on primary sources: official government publications, regulatory filings, peer-reviewed research, and direct data from exchanges (ICE, EEX, EPİAŞ). Every factual claim is linked to its source. We do not publish unverified claims or speculation presented as fact.

Analysis pieces are clearly labelled and reflect the author's informed interpretation of available evidence. Uncertainty is explicitly acknowledged.

Market Data

Market prices are sourced from publicly available feeds and are indicative only. Data freshness is indicated on all market cards using a colour-coded freshness dot:

  • Green (fresh): Updated within the last 2 hours
  • Yellow (delayed): Updated within the last 24 hours
  • Red (stale): Older than 24 hours

We do not warrant the accuracy of market data for trading purposes. See Data Sources for full provenance.

Research Content

All research content on the Transition Hub is produced as part of a PhD dissertation at Erciyes University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Faik Bilgili. Methodology, data, and model code are published alongside results to ensure full reproducibility.

Each experiment run is assigned a unique, immutable run_id derived from its source file hash. Runs cannot be modified after publication; corrections are made by publishing new runs with updated inputs.

All quantitative results include confidence bands where applicable and are accompanied by an Interpretation Guardrail reminding readers that scenarios are not forecasts.

Corrections Policy

We correct factual errors promptly and transparently. Minor corrections (spelling, formatting) are made silently. Substantive corrections (factual errors, data updates) are:

  • Noted at the top of the corrected article with the date and nature of the change
  • Logged in our Corrections Register
  • Recorded in the content revision history

Renewable Transition is an independent academic research platform operated by Seyit Önderol as part of PhD research at Erciyes University. It receives no commercial funding and carries no advertising. The platform does not accept sponsored content.
