Privacy & Telemetry
We take privacy seriously. This platform collects minimal, aggregated usage data only. No personal information is collected without your explicit consent.
What we collect
We collect aggregated, non-personal usage events to understand how the platform is used. Specifically:
- Page views (page path only, no query parameters with PII)
- Feature usage events:
search_used,experiment_viewed,simulator_run_started,dataset_opened - A non-reversible daily session hash (SHA-256 of IP + user-agent + date) — not linkable to individuals
We do not collect: names, email addresses, location, device identifiers, or any PII through telemetry. No cross-site tracking. No advertising.
Cookies
We use only:
- Functional cookies: theme preference, newsletter consent, telemetry opt-out flag — stored in
localStorage - Session state: authenticated sessions (if you log in)
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or analytics trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).
Data retention
Aggregated telemetry events are retained for 90 days, then purged. Raw events are never exported or shared with third parties.
Opt-out
You can opt out of telemetry collection at any time below. Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage and respected on all subsequent visits.
